Perian, the OSX video software that adds support to Quicktime for many video formats has finally come to an end. The developers are moving on but have decided to upload the source code to Google Docs or Github. Perian add these libraries :

Apple has released another OS X Lion update. Download the OS X Lion 10.7.4 update here. The 10.7.4 update is recommended for all OS X Lion users and includes general operating system fixes that improve the stability, compatibility, and security of your Mac including fixes that:
Resolve an issue where the “Reopen windows when logging back in” setting is always enabled
Improve compatibility with certain British third-party USB keyboards
Address an issue that may prevent files from being saved to a server
Improve the reliability of copying files to an SMB server

Apple is sending out emails to all those who have been using the iWork.com service in order to announce its discontinuation. With the release of iCloud, all iWork documents will be synced via that service.

Thanks for participating in the iWork.com public beta.
Last year, we launched iCloud, a service that stores your music, photos, documents and more, and wirelessly pushes them to all your devices. Today, there are already over 40 million documents stored on iCloud by millions of iWork customers. Learn more about iCloud.
With a new way to share iWork documents between your devices using iCloud, the iWork.com public beta service will no longer be available. As of 31 July 2012, you will no longer be able to access your documents on the iWork.com site or view them on the web.
We recommend that you sign in to iWork.com before 31 July 2012 and download all your documents to your computer. For detailed instructions on how to save a copy of your documents to your computer, read this support article at Apple.com.
